King Wilkie at Don Quixote’s. Eclectic acoustic band King Wilkie crosses folk and Americana with bluegrass. Ray Brown and the Great Big Band at Cabrillo. Kuumbwa Jazz presents trumpeter Ray Brown and his all-star band at Cabrillo’s Crocker Theatre. Brown, who arranged music for Stan Kenton, is a versatile arranger, conductor and trumpet player, as well as head of Cabrillo College’s Jazz Studies program.
